Ultra Series Rods are precision CNC machined from forged aircraft grade 4340 chromoly steel blanks and feature an X-Beam design which significantly reduces weight while maintaining strength. Lightweight Ultra rods improve engine response and acceleration by decreasing rotational and reciprocating mass. The Advanced Finite Element Analysis driven design combined with a comprehensive heat treatment, tempering, and shot peening processes results in a rod with industry leading strength to weight ratios. Included with each rod are high tensile strength, 3/8-inch ARP2000 bolts rated at 220,000psi.
